Hardscape Grandma's Quilt Area

Beds This Hardscape Is In

This sitting area was designed Ann and built by our mason. John Coapman, who built the retaining wall that curves up and down along with the contour of the land. The diamond design in the sitting area is similar to the design in the entrance of the Quilt Patch Area. This area connects the Water Garden/Conifer Garden to the front yard. There is a small bridge that brings you to the side of the front yard. The stone pavers were picked by Ann and the center of the area is made up of Coral Beels representing a Quilt. It become a ‘Hidden Garden’ in the Summer due to the Oak Leaf Hydrangeas hiding the area until you walk through the Arching Trellis.
